Tiny Tip #3: Gain Quality Likes and Follows From Wallflowers

Are you connecting with each person interested in your organization in the way that they want to connect?  Offer them options to stay engaged.

Indirect communication with volunteers and donors is essential to maintain the cycle of "Engagement leads to Exposure leads to Volunteers lead to Donors."  Links to your organization's Twitter, Facebook, and blog pages will grow your base of highly social locals.

Place 'Follow' and 'Like' buttons in the following locations to maximize your followers, likes, social impact and online donations.  Use these simple buttons directly from Twitter and Facebook.
-Twitter Follow Buttons
-Facebook Like Buttons

1) Your Organization's Website
Make it obvious and easy to connect on each page, especially from the contact page.

2) Newsletters

3) Emails (Tiny Tip #1)

4) Blog

5) Business Cards

6) Pamplets, Flyers, Direct Mailings

Feel free to drop us a line. We're here to help you apply this or any Tiny Tip to your organization.  My name is Andy Turman and I can be reached at andy@gividend.com.

Awesome advice! To supplement this post, I have recently found a neat tool for those using Microsoft Outlook, software that isn't so compatible with WiseStamp. It's called "Outlook Social Connector", found here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/outlook-social-connector-partner-listing-FX102317540.aspx

It helps users to manage their friends and the social networks they belong to. Check it out, tell me what you think.

Thanks Alex!

What sort of problems did you experience with Wisestamp on Outlook?

At first glance, the Outlook Social Connector looks great. I'm always searching for ways to integrate the social profiles and the massive amount of info on the web into one place.

Thank you so much for your comment!

Andy
